an ode to the paper republic XL grand voyageur

Like most, I have different notebooks for different things. Currently, I hold 3 separate notebooks in my paper republic grand voyageur:

1) Commonplace

Commonplacing is random and requires an Index, so i found the Leuchtturm1917, B6+ soft cover to be the best for this.

I never know what will be going in here - usually book reviews and analysis, notes on an article or podcast, notes on a certain rabbit hole topic, notes on an album or artist or museum, a documentation of something. Because of this, an Index is a non negotiable, she needs to stay organized somehow.

2) Leuchtturm1917 planner, B6+ soft cover

It has a 12-month calendar in the front, and the rest of the planner is empty dotted pages, used for brain dumps for personal projects, project outlines, ideas, download. A project planner.

3) Moleskin, Large soft cover

Lined for journaling, morning pages, all writing. Sometimes doodles and maps to organize personal thoughts. Whatever the day calls for.

Size differences

The leuchtturms are about 1.5cm shorter in length than the grand voyageur and the moleskin fits perfectly and snug
